Donald Henderson, MD, MPH, is a Gastroenterologist with a private practice in Los Angeles and Inglewood, California. He is the past Chief of Staff and past Medical Director of Quality Management at Centinela-Freeman Health Systems. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine (UCLA).

Dr. Henderson received his undergraduate degree from Howard University and his medical degree from the University of Florida Medical School, Gainesville, Florida. He received his Masters, Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health and completed his fellowship at UCLA.
He has co-authored numerous articles about the management and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. For 12 years Dr. Henderson was the co- Executive Producer of a television and radio program called "Health is Wealth" He is a dedicated advocate and spokesperson for the American Cancer Society, Los Angeles, where he also serves as a member of the Board of Directors.
He has been featured in interviews in publications such as Family Circle Magazine, Shape Magazine , and on the television shows CBS Channel 2 news and Good Morning America and the American Cancer Society 's Annual Report.
